Cancellation |
For students who are unable to attend a class for which they have registered, class registration fees are non-refundable but are transferable , and unused registrations may be applied to future classes, for up to one year, provided cancellation notice is given to the school by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the original class. In the unlikely event that The Cheese School must cancel a class, students will have the option of receiving a refund or applying any fees paid to a future class. |
Cheese 101 |
Our Cheese 101 series – Basic Cheese Primer; Cheese Selection, Storage and Service; and Cheese and Wine Pairing – provides a complete introduction to how cheese is made and its different classifications, how to properly select and care for cheese, and how best to create a complete cheese tasting experience. While these classes can be taken individually, we are offering a Cheese 101 series package which allows students to register for all three classes together at a special series price of $150 – a $30 savings over individual class registration fees. |
Contact Information |
At the time of registration, we require your name and ask that you also provide us with your phone number and email address. We will use this information only to send you a reminder the day before the class or to notify you in the event of a cancellation. With your permission, we will also send you notices of future Cheese School events. |
Class Meetings and What to Expect |
Unless otherwise indicated, all classes meet at The Cheese School of San Francisco’s dedicated classroom facility at 2155 Powell Street, between Francisco and Chestnut. All classes include plentiful tasting samples – typically 8-10 cheeses, 2-3 wines or other beverage pairings, and various accompaniments. Please be prompt and be prepared to mingle and enjoy. |
